1Atami City Tourism Association
Atami Plum Garden, famous for Japan's earliest plum blossoms and latest autum leaves since it was opened in 1886. It is the site of 454 trees of 60 species including a ancient plum tree more than 100 years old. You can enjoy it year round, not just in the plum blossom season.

The Jogasaki Coast, formed by waves eroding lava deposited on the shoreline by the erupting Mt. Omuro. On its 9km hiking course, enjoy the thrilling suspended bridge or a lighthouse offering a 360 degree view.

This is a sea water bath on a sandy beach which your family can enjoy with confidence. And right beside it, a seaside pool and outdoor hot spring bath.

4Kawazu Tourist Association
The Kawazu cherries, said to be a naturally occuring hybrid of the Taiwan cherry and early blooming Oshima cherry, are an early blooming variety. In late January, their buds begin to open and they are covered with deep pink blooms until early March.

In Shimoda City, located in a rich natural setting, large and small coastlines each create a unique atmosphere. Visitors are charmed by its gorgeous scenery, featuring clear ocean water and white sand.

From mid September, the prosperous Ise Shrimp fisheries begin. In this fishing town, watch the fishermen busily removing the Ise Shrimp from their nets and hanging them on drying poles. This is the leading fishing town in Shizuoka Prefecture.

7Matsuzaki town Tourist Association
You can see Mt. Fuji, Japan's highest peak from the roadside in the town of Matsuzaki. On clear days, the far away azure ocean is clearly visible.

8Nishiizu town Tourist Association
The evening sun on the Otago Coastline has been proclaimed to be Japan's finest sunset. The sight of the evening sun setting between the male and female islands of the Tago Islands in the spring and autumn continues to be popular among many travelers and photographers.

9Mishima Tourist Association
Taking more than 100 years, the subsoil water from Mt. Fuji has bubbled up in Mishima and has become the beautiful stream of Genbe River where fireflies fly in May. You can walk in the river through the wooden path or steppingstones.

10Kannami town Tourist Association
The prospect from the Jukkoku Pass is a truly stunning view. Visitors wanting an even more dynamic view can use the cable car from the rest house at its base. It takes them to the peak in 3 minutes.

Mt. Shiroyama is a rock formed when magma solidified in ancient times. Conspicuous even from afar, the contrast between the Kano River flowing through the foothills, and the wild mountain surface has been selected as one of the 100 best views in Shizuoka Prefecture.

12Izu City Tourist Association
Nakaizu grows Japan's finest wasabi horseradish. The clear water and rich beautiful natural environment necessary for its growth remain. The splendid view of its terraced fields has won many scenery contests.

13Numazu Tourist Information Center
Mt. Fuji is also called the symbol of Japan. As it colors each season and gently transforms its face, Japan's highest mountain can be seen from many parts of Numazu City.
